Entropion (eyelid turned in) Case
81 year old male presented with left eye irritation, constant "scratchy" sensation and tears running down his cheek. He had been using tape on his left cheek to try and bring the eyelid back into normal position. He was found to have a left lower eyelid entropion (eyelid turned inwards).
Before: Left lower eyelid entropion (eyelid turned in) with eyelashes touching the surface of the eye
After: 3 months after surgical repair with left lower eyelid back in normal anatomic position and resolution of symptoms
